How is 6Pulse different from a panic button or smartwatch?
Panic buttons and smartwatches both require the person to take action — either pressing a button or wearing a device. Studies show most seniors abandon wearables within weeks, and up to 80% don't press their panic button during an actual fall. 6Pulse is completely passive: fixed sensors in the home automatically detect falls with no action required. It works even in the bathroom, where wearables are removed and cameras can't go.
Does it use cameras?
Absolutely not — and that's a core principle of 6Pulse. We use a combination of motion, radar, and environmental sensors that can detect falls and movement patterns without capturing any images or video. Your loved one's privacy and dignity are fully preserved.
How accurate is fall detection?
In our beta testing, we've achieved over 94% detection accuracy with very low false positive rates. Our AI model distinguishes between a fall and normal activities like sitting down quickly or dropping something. We're continuously improving accuracy with each update.
How does the AI know what's normal vs. a problem?
6Pulse continuously learns your loved one's unique daily patterns — when they wake, move between rooms, rest, and sleep. Over time it builds a personal baseline. When activity deviates significantly from that baseline — unusual stillness, no movement in the bathroom for too long, or an unexpected event at an odd hour — it flags it as an anomaly and alerts your family. Importantly, all of this is done using motion and radar data only. No audio, no images, no video — ever. Your loved one's privacy is preserved at every step.
